Art 4 Final

This is the finished painting that I did for my Art 4 class. It is acrylic on a hand-streched and gessoed canvas. This took about 8 weeks to complete. It took a lot of work but Im rather pleased with the final outcome.

I used a heavy application of paint and blended it on the canvas creating an effect similar to something done with a palette knife rather than a brush. The painting is so thick that it has already begun to crack. Unfortunately.
